THE FURY presented by Union House Theatre
The Fury was a work devised by students of Melbourne University under the direction of Tom Gutteridge. The piece was loosely based on the Durrenmatt classic The Visit, and involved a society of risk-averse townsfolk who work in a plastics factory, invaded by a Lady-Gaga-Amy-Winehouse celebrity and her entourage who comes seeking revenge on an ex-lover.

some more shots, limited conventionals in the air and very limited hang space meant using the movers, not for moving effects or anything, but mostly just to eliminate 100 different focus points I needed. Plus the different color temp helped with key lights at the end of songs. Also, the strip lights at the school were useless, so i used there dimmers, and hung my own lights underneath them. took some creative rigging. ended up with about a total of 24 1K pars, 32 source fours, 3 source four jr’s, 6 studio spots, 4 color blazes, 19 color blasts, and about 75 feet of rope light. 145 lighting cues in all.
Parasol makes truss that allows moving lights to, well, move
